    If you’re new to The Strength and Mindset Studio, new to strength training or are returning to training, the 1:1 session is ideal to get started.

    Join us for a private session where we can go at your own pace and tailor sessions to help you build confidence and the all important technique, so you’re ready to join the 4:1 small group sessions which cater for all experience levels.

What to expect

  • Yes, absolutely! Although our Instagram account shows some badass lifting, you would be surprised to hear that many had their own challenges to overcome in the beginning and they had no loads to start with.

  • Wear comfortable clothes that are not too loose. Running shoes or socks are fine. It’s always a good idea to bring a bottle of water with you. We offer small towels for your workout. 

  • If you are a complete beginner or someone that has had a very long break we strongly advise you to start with one training session per week. Especially if you have a very busy lifestyle and you have struggles with building new habits. 

  • There are toilets on the premises and space to change, there is a kitchen to refill your water bottle, and we do have spare water if you forget yours. We offer small towels for your workout. 

  • We have a 24 hour notice cancellation policy, and request that members contact us ASAP for emergency cancellations less than 24 hours before your session.

    When purchasing a trial session, please book a place within 30 days of purchasing. For further information please read our Terms and Conditions:

    Booking/Cancelling your session

    • slots can be booked, via Octiv, 14 days at the earliest prior to the member's preferred booking slot or a recurring booking slot can be arranged (subject to availability);

    • for a group session, we cannot accommodate lateness beyond 10 minutes as it disrupts the flow of the session;

    • sessions can be cancelled up to 24 hours before;

    • in case of injury or emergency please contact us;

    • if the member wishes to cancel with less that 24 hours before the session, unfortunately it will be considered a non-refundable late cancellation.

  • You can book in for a trial session to see if we are the right fit first, and if you’d like to become a member we’ll get you set up with a rolling monthly membership and access to our app where you can book your sessions.

    Please contact us beforehand if you have any special requirements or if we have to be aware of any injuries or medical conditions.

By train:

Exit Anerley Station heading up to the main road and turn left onto Anerley Road (A214). We are a short walk away (approx. 5 minutes) on the left-hand side opposite Betts Park. Turn left when you get to the sign for ‘Artistic Spaces’ down the slip road where you’ll find the unit on your right. The Strength and Mindset Studio is Unit 107 located on the ground floor.

By car (free parking):

You can find us at 183a Anerley Road, staying on the main road (sometimes the postcode misleads people) and turn left down the slip road opposite Betts Park where you’ll see a sign for ‘Anerley Works’. There is free parking next to the studio building.

We run a members-only studio and do not provide ‘drop-in’ sessions. If you are new to us please book in for a trial session first - we’d love to meet you!
