Coaching is personal, who is your coach?

I find the relationship between a coach and an athlete - yes you, you are the athlete - to be very unique.

Here you are all of a sudden, talking to a professional about your body, your sleep, your food, your health, your mood, what you did the day before and beyond that. Sometimes it can be a heavy heart or going through a very stressful situation, but as soon as you say it the mood lightens up, the performance improves and you feel a like a different person ready to tackle any workout.

There is no sports performance without the mind being totally invested in it and it does a lot of the heavy lifting. So, I thought I should put everything out here to build a bridge to my clients, but mostly for my children, because this is a one year journal style story brand that talks about my life, my values, personal examples I learned from and different stories and hurdles that have made me the person and the coach I am today.

I have embarked on a 365 blog/posting challenge and my biggest driver comes from the idea that I will leave it to my kids and that they will find here my take on various aspects of life, maybe they will find it useful or maybe not, but I am sure I would have loved something like this from my parents or grandparents growing up.

I hope you are going to bear with me and forgive my mistakes, but mostly I hope I will be able to entertain you, help you with finding your own mindset and inner strength beyond doubts or fears of failure.

Thank you for joining me in this journey and I hope you too will embark into a self exploratory journey just like mine, without fear of judgment or embarrassment because your biggest, unfair advantage is to be yourself!

You got this!

Your coach,
Eliza
