I don’t have the motivation? Can a personal trainer help me?
As you can imagine we would need to gather the best scholars in the world to exhaust this topic. #mindsetmatters
If you feel like you don’t have the motivation and you are waiting for it to suddenly kick in - this can generate a lot of frustration. There is no easier way to say it, but motivation is the result of action.
Action brings motivation!
Would a personal trainer be able to help you?
Yes, to some degree.
At Strength and Mindset we understand how hard it is to overcome the mental obstacle of incorporating exercise into your life. We keep in touch with our clients and we offer them constant support and encouragement. We schedule meetings or phone chats where we actualise goals and talk about how we can help with your hurdles.
But as much as we want to change the world and bring exercise into every household, thinking that we can control someone would be futile and all sorts of wrong.
Motivation is temporary - you have the power
Your wish to be better than yesterday, your ability to understand how important it is for your health, your power to silence the thoughts of other tasks - excuses, they all contribute to the fight of your life, you vs you!
⭐️ Your first and biggest hurdle - showing up - even if you are not having a good day!
🪄 Motivation is not a magical formula. Routine will lead to motivation and there is no way to skip the process. In time you will be able to go on autopilot and training will become as natural as all your other habits.
Accountability can be a serious drive to begin with, knowing that you are paying someone and that they are waiting for you - should be a good reason to get dressed, put your shoes on and show up.
💫 It starts with one step and it turns into one day, one week, etc. There is no need for grand goals or expectations, just show up!
Motivation is temporary, drive is what you are looking for and that will only come in time, with our support, but from deep within you!
